Where’s the Manual?
Notes from figuring it out in real time
I used to think being “behind” meant I had failed something.
Like there was a meeting about life I missed and everyone else took notes.
A memo I didn’t read.
A syllabus everyone else downloaded except me.
Everyone seemed to be “on track” —
married on schedule,
healed on time,
successful right on cue
and there I was, still asking God follow-up questions.
But the longer I live, the more I realize this:
sometimes you’re not behind , you’re just not performing.
Not performing healing.
Not performing growth.
Not turning your private lessons into public announcements.
